The Urban Big Data Centre in conjunction with SASNet invites you to participate in a free training seminar on Discrete Choice Modelling & Cause-Effect Case Studies.

This event features Chandra Bhat, Director of the Center for Transport Research (CTR), Professor of Engineering and Economics at the University of Texas at Austin, and a world-renowned expert in the area of transportation and urban policy design.

The seminar will provide time for discussion and networking around featured talks by Prof. Bhat:

  • Introduction to Discrete Choice Modelling
  • Cause-Effect Relationships in Residential, Auto Ownership, and Activity Choices (see abstract below)

This free event will be held at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor in their spacious Kelvin Suite meeting room and will be relevant to anyone with an interest in big data, transportation, and urban data analysis. It will be methods-focused and especially relevant to those interested in modelling complex and heterogeneous forms of data.
