This half day seminar will consist of two 1-hour sessions presented by Devrim Kara, Director, PTV Group UK, covering the use of ‘Big Data’ for improving transport networks and research into the implications of autonomous vehicles in cities and the value of transport simulations. Dr Wei Liu, Lecturer in Transportation Engineering at the University of Glasgow will then present two scenarios using a parking simulator to demonstrate possible improvements in efficiency and pricing strategy for city centre parking.

There are no specific pre-requisites for joining the presentations and they are likely to be of most interest to transport professionals from the academic, consultancy and public sectors.

***Please note: Registration is required for catering purposes. Refreshments and lunch will be provided at the end of the workshop over networking.
