Graciela Carrillo is a PhD researcher working under the supervision of Professor Piyushimita (Vonu) Thakuriah and Dr. Jinhyun Hong.

She earned an Industrial Logistics Engineering degree from the Autonomous University of Yucatan, Mexico in 2013. She received her Master's Degree in Public and Urban Policy from the University of Glasgow, UK. Her master dissertation versed on the analysis of a national instrument of housing policy and its impact on income inequality in Mexico. Her current research focuses on the connection between digital literacy and transport disadvantages using data from the Integrated Multimedia City Data (iMCD) project. Her interest is on the potential of digital literacy as an enabler of transport accessibility.
