Kristine is in 1st Year of her PhD in the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Glasgow.  Her research is looking into housing and welfare in times of austerity under the supervision of Professor Nick Bailey and Professor Ken Gibb.

Prior to joining the team at the University of Glasgow she had been working in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, first as a Social Security Officer 1 for a Jobs and Benefits office and then as an Assistant Statistician for the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency, working specifically on housing statistics for the Department for Social Development

She previously obtained a BSc (Hons) Psychology from Bangor University in 2007, and an MSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Queens University Belfast in 2010.
