This is the official register of land and property in Scotland, which records all sale and long lease transactions and provides details of property ownership since 1 April 2003.
The data is separated into two file names: master and address. There are more records in the address tables than there are in the master tables because some sales correspond to multiple addresses - a single sale could represent four properties. The sequence simply differentiates between the different properties in the sale.
