Dr Qiaosi Li joined UBDC in June 2022 as a research associate in urban sensing. She received her PhD in Geography and Resource Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her current interest is in employing remote sensing, big data and technology to understand change in the urban environment. Before joining UBDC, she gained research experience in applying multisource remotely sensed data and machine learning in vegetation, ecology, and geology studies.
Research interests:
Remote sensing of vegetation and urban study
Analysis and application of high-resolution, hyperspectral, and LiDAR data
