Rafael Verduzco
Lecturer in Urban Analytics
Rafael joined UBDC after concluding his doctoral research in the Department of Urban Studies at the University of Glasgow in 2022. The research project assessed the impacts of bus and rail infrastructure on property prices adopting location-based measures. As Research Assistant in UBDC, Rafael developed the first set of a series of public transport indicators for the whole of Great Britain in collaboration with Dr. McArthur.
In the past, Rafael played various roles in transport planning organizations of the public sector in Mexico.
Currently, he seeks to use innovative sources of information and methods to produce further insights of urban transport.
