Michail Georgiou
Dr Michail Georgiou is a Research Associate in Quantitative Neighbourhood Analysis at the Urban Big Data Centre. Michail completed his PhD in Environmental Epidemiology, focusing on the salutogenic and equigenic impact of nature-based solutions on health and health inequalities, through the study of urban blue spaces with the use of big data. He has an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Lancaster, UK, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Patras, Greece. His current work focusses on addressing housing inequalities in urban areas, particularly examining the impact of policy regulations on the Private Rented Sector (PRS) with the use of innovative sources of information and methods.
