Dr. Sam Grant joined the Urban Big Data Centre full time in May 2023 as a labour market research associate. His work primarily involves analysing textual information from Adzuna, a large UBDC-held vacancy dataset, to provide insights into labour market and economic developments. Additionally, Sam is an affiliate with the University of Strathclyde, where he uses the tools of applied micro-econometrics to study criminal recidivism. Prior to his tenure at UBDC, Sam completed his PhD in Economics from the University of Strathclyde.
