Yuxiao Li
PhD student researcher
Yuxiao's PhD research aims to explore the state’s involvement in governing housing informality and its implications in urban China. Her work focuses on the dynamic shifts in the state's governance strategies for housing informality and their impacts on the socio-spatial changes in Chinese neighbourhoods.
Before pursuing her PhD, Yuxiao completed an MRes in Urban Research at the University of Glasgow. She has an interdisciplinary background from her undergraduate studies, holding BSc degrees in both Human Geography & Urban-Rural Planning and Psychology from Central China Normal University.
