Bio

Kevin is a PhD Student Researcher situated within the Urban Big Data Centre. He has a legal background and recently completed a Master of Research in Urban Studies.

Research Summary

His research is investigating the impact the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016 has had on the private rented sector within Scotland using quantitative (big data) methods. The research is a collaboration between UBDC, the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) and the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe).

He is also is a tutor within the School of Law, teaching the Scots Law of Delict. He has also previously volunteered for a Law Clinic, where he provided housing-related advice to private and social rented tenants.
