Zixin's research aims to explore the behaviour patterns of electric vehicles (EV) and find the future deployment of charging infrastructure. She also aims to discover how the new deployment of charging infrastructures can affect the adoption rate of EVs. She plans to use Agent-Based models, Machine Learning, and Location Optimisation to create a comprehensive model formulation for the deployment of EV charging infrastructures.
Prior to her PhD study, Zixin worked at AECOM, an infrastructure consulting firm, where she was responsible for the strategic planning of real estate projects. She received her M.Phil. degree from the University of Cambridge and her B.A. degree from Peking University, China. In her spare time, Zixin loves painting, writing, playing Go, and skiing.
